1.1. Fiber is in my street !

THDtel will inform you by flyers in mailbox the begining of fiber installation works in your street and its duration..

Civil works will be by phases.

THDtel is deploying a totaly buried infrastructure (conduits) towards each Lowlands property.

1.2. How to know if my property is "connectable" ?

Your property is called "connectable" when a micro conduit was buried just in front of its wall and when fiber cable that it belongs to, is in place (See  photos above).

Then the owner is able to order his home connection to the Lowlands Ultra Fast Broadband network.

2.1. I order my connection !

The connection to Lowlands network is chargeable, the line inside your property is the owner responsibility.

The installation is carried out by THDtel, according to the professional rules , for the network standardization and quality.

2.2. Appointment for my Ftth line installation !

In order not to undervalue your micro-conduit needs and determine the best location for your optical outlet, you'll receive the visit from the THDtel Network Engineer.

3.1. I bury my micro-conduit !

The HDPE micro-conduits are orange,  7 mm diameter. 

They can easily be inserted into a telecom conduit (green) already installed  and have to be long enough to reach the optical outlet place.

Otherwise, they must be buried directly underground, at a minimum depth of 15 cm

3.2. Appointment for wiring and my optical telecommunication outlet installation !

Wiring, splicing and optical outlet installation are carried out by THDtel.

It could happen only after the micro-conduit perfect installation.

4.1. I choose my Ftth operator !

Lowlands network is a shared network, it means you can choose the Ftth operator you'd like.

Beyond the optical outlet, all cables (fiber, ethernet), all devices (repeaters, WIFI routers , computers, etc.) are part of your internal network.

They are the property of the optical line user. It is important to check their compatibility with your new optical installation.
